Quick help needed

I bought some Mobil 1 turbo diesel oil and it says truck. Is that ok?

I see no reason why you would have a problem. I use that oil in my italian sport bikes without a problem. It lacks the "energy conserving" additives that a conventional "car" oil would have. The energy conserving additives are known to swell clutches in a wet clutch system (which is typically found in a motorcycle).
Yes, this is fine. It keeps the additives in the oil that are not catalytic converter "friendly." Somewhere - on these forums I think - someone said that using it may cause your catalytic converter to fail in approximately 100,000 miles. I am not sure if it may throw emission codes more often or not.
Other than that, it should help lube the top end better.
I bought 13 five-quart containers while they were on sale at AutoZone!
Thanks for the replies. The word "truck" threw me off. I was using another brand of synthetic and figured I would try it for the ZZP (?).

Yep, a large amount of us have been running this oil for years (it's what BOE runs in their race cars also).

If you see the acronym "TDT" on the forum that stands for "Turbo Diesel Truck" and refers to the oil so many of us love :up:

The additive is ZDDP by the way.
