I thought I would pass this tip on to all who are runnning there radar detector wire up the side pillar, then acroos to the middle of the windshield.
I found the casing of coax cable to help fill in the gap. Keeping it from falling out. I used 4 pieces of coax. 1 in the corner, 1 where the wire comeout of the dash to the pilar, and 2 across the top part of the windshield.
Hope this was imformative.

Here are pics of steps.

Cut casing off coax.

slice the casing open

wrap the casing around your radar detector wire

Insert wire into car inbetween windshield and pillar.

Very cool idea. Thanks. I was using some rubber slices and if I pull the cable they all seem to fall out. Thanks again for sharing!

Well not to get your hopes up but if you pull on these they will come out. I did it this way cause i wanted to be able to quickly remove the wire if needed with out damage to the car. What do others use that is a more permenant setup?
I'm sure if you used 2 wrapped around each other to make it thicker it might hold even tighter.

The Escort X-50 uses a flat wire, that seems to fit tucked under the spar quite nicely actually, all by itself.
