Bottom Row: Walbro 400 E85, Walbro 400 Gas, Walbro 255, Aeromotive 340R

Nice the new walbro 400 seems to be the ticket. We have used them in the past on our Subaru, Mistu Applications. We have had two of the Aeromotive units fail, prematurely. All other seem to still be going strong.

Great info!

Yea the newer walbro 400 looks like it may finally be the "next big thing" over the 044... assuming of course long term reliability looks good.

At the end of the day, Walbro 255 is good to 500+hp; well over anything I would build a 2zz-GE for. Looks like I will stick with this proven (but loud) pump.

I have grown to like the sound of the 255 winding up.
Once underway the MP62 drowns out the 255 so
it is barely noticeable.
