Hi all, I am having a problem with my rear caliper,it will not tilt back. I removed the bolt, and pulled the slip lock out,but the caliper will not go back, has anyone had this trouble? I did the front brakes no problems, then I started the back, and this happen. My car is a 2005 Lotus Elise, any help would be great. Bob

I had some stick last time I did a change - rotors were a bit grooved and had a lip and the pads stuck a bit to the pistons. The combo of the groove and the stick prevented the caliper from rotating freely.

Pulled the bolt, pin, spring, then tapped the pads very lightly with a hammer and the caliper rotated.

Remove the o/s pad first, then easy to tilt/swivel.
