Removable steering wheel?

This has been discussed before. Consensus is It is not compatible with the airbag requirement. It would not help anyway as those who have sat the cars claim the drivers side is the easiest entry and exit (with top on) because of having the wheel to grab.

I am not worried about an air bag. I don't think if I were to have an accident in this car, considering my size and the size of the car, it would be favorable.

Crash is a 6'3 230 pound man. When we sat in the S2 car at the show in ATL his torso/chest was pretty close to the wheel etc. I assume crash is referring to the same principle as short women who move their seat right up to the wheel and are hurt/killed when the air bags go off.
