Folks,

I tried the Search without clear results...

I'm trying to remove my rear panel to install my new 2Bular Exhaust. I removed all the bolts but I cant slide the panel.

Do I have to remove all the exhaust and heat shield in order to removre the rear panel???

HELP PLEASE!!! :crazyeyes

Thanks
Pierre

Yep.

And if you do a heat shield search you'll find most people aren't replacing the heat shield. Leave the heat shield on the U-pipe or wrap it with exhaust tape. The rear panel is a real bit¢# without the shield removed.

You guys were right. In order to remove the rear panel, you have to remove the exhaust and heat shield (or at least seriously ease some bolts). Not complex but removing the rear panel without doing this is impossible... at least on a 2007+

I installed my new 2Bular 8X24. I kept the heat shield but cut it so we don't see it too much and used header wrap on the U section of the exhaust.

Very happy with the result although it is on the quiet side...

Cheers :D
