Yeah 300 something bucks for a day probably isn't gonna get him out of the red.

And I am sure said renter will cause more than 300 something dollars worth of ware to tires alone, not to mention the rest of the car.

He may be upside down on the loan and if he can rent it a few days a month and even pay for a third of the monthly loan payments that way, I guess it's worth it.
