The brake sensor on top of the fluid reservoir on my 06 Exige is on the fritz. Sometimes it comes on, sometimes it goes off. The fluid level is fine and the problem seems to be a faulty sensor inside the cap of the brake fluid reservoir. Lotus does not sell the sensor separately, and the dealer wants $60 for a new reservoir, cap and sensor.

Does anyone know if a replacement sensor is available?

Did you try "over filling" the res? That's the only way my dash "BRAKE" light will stay OFF.
