I have been keeping this around for years to use as a spare or in case I go back to a through-diffuser exhaust. However, new mods, car expenditures, and a sheer lack of space are forcing me to rationalize what I have lying around. Therefore I am first putting up for sale my heat damaged Reverie 3-element carbon fiber diffuser. Bubbled in various places and slightly crisped from when my BOE diffuser exit pipe dropped onto the top side of the diffuser. I have tried to show the extent of the damage in these pictures. After the incident, I covered the top side with much thicker and more effective Thermotec adhesive heat shielding rated to 2000 degrees. One of the element fins is also slightly damaged from bottoming out at very low speed in a driveway. The damage is essentially invisible when installed on the car, as the final picture shows, but it is certainly not an item for the perfectionist who wants a near perfect example on the car. This does also have the very nice matching carbon fiber closeout plates attached to it, seen in the first picture at the lower left and right corners. Thought hard about moving these to my other diffuser but decided to leave them here. Although I do have a box for shipping, local sale preferred, as I worry about damage during transit for bulky items like this. Asking $450 plus shipping obo (about 1/3 the cost of the $1300 + taxes and shipping from Sector 111 new).

Pictures showing the new Thermotec adhesive heat barrier installed on the diffuser and the diffuser mounted back onto the car. Other than a small discoloration that shows on the top of the diffuser just behind the rear panel, the damage is essentially unnoticeable.

Bump - still available. Found a set of wheels for my A6 I'd like to move on, so someone looking for a perfectly functional CF diffuser with even better head shielding pick this up! Especially good deal for someone local!
