I need to make room in my garage for a late model Lotus Esprit.
I don’t want to sell my 11 nor my Elise, so one of my single seater track toys has to go.
If you are looking to get into vintage or SCCA open wheel racing, here is your opportunity to do so inexpensively. I am selling my 1982 Reynard RF82 Formula Ford featuring a “Sebring” tail section (better aero). Bodywork and side panels are freshly restored and painted in red/black. The car presents very well and gets a lot of admiring comments at the track.
You can run this car on the West coast with vintage organizations such as HSR-West and VARA. This Reynard is also ready to participate in the west coast Formula Ford “The Series” challenge where it will be a front runner if your driving skills are of the front running kind. -poke-
It will keep up with DB-1's.
This is the first inboard suspension FF designed by Reynard. Car can easily do sub-1:30’s around Willow Springs with a good driver.
Vehicle is in overall excellent condition and is professionally maintained by Jens Plougman in Phoenix, AZ.
The car has a total of 3 races since I bought it. Car runs great and is ready to race. And I mean ready to race!!! Currently has Willow Springs gears in it. Car was prepped after it came off the track last mid 08. New American racer tires mounted with 5 heat cycles. Ivey Engine pulls strong. Tilton Super Starter freshly rebuilt as well.
Car will accept drivers up to 6 ft with current seat configuration.
Spares included in sale:
New, painted nose, ready to clip to car.
Set of mounted rains on Revolution wheels.
A few extra gear sets.
There are a few miscellaneous suspension parts included as well.
Car is located in Prescott, Arizona, which is a little more than one hour north of Phoenix.
$8,500
You can call me, Luc, the owner at 310-561-0196 to schedule a viewing, or if you have technical questions, you can call Jens at 602-703-0610
Please see my other listings for my 1985 Anson SA6 SV and my 1980 March 80A FA x-Cobb
