Folks,

I just bought my Elise and I'm buying the required parts for my track days next summer. I'm not planning to use my car as a dedicated track car but will probably do between 8-10 days per season...

After talking with G-F, I do understand why we need to upgrade Toe links. Now, what should I install...

RTD: Seems the strongest and more expensive option
RTV: Seems good enough and cheaper
I also saw on eliseparts.com and Toe link kit that seems a little different.

Anyone can share their experience with RTV?
Why spending more on RTD?
Anyone using the eliseparts.com one?
Thoughts?

because your body, and your car are worth having something like this be top quality.
from what i recall, this is the best one on the market.

Nothing really... but if you're going to go through the trouble of replacing the stock toe links, you might as well go with the stronger/more durable piece...

Oh, I'm sure the cheaper one is good enough for most of us. More track use probably means you should spend more.

You should check your toe links, whatever kind, before track days or autocross, though.

RTV is more than sufficient for 99.9% of Lotus owners.
RTD is for fully race-prepped Loti=.01%

i belive they both have the same toe links now - the only difference is the brace bolting to the chassis (at least thats what sector told me)

lastly, if you check and maintain the stock set up on street tires... i really don't think you "need" it. i got the rtv - didn't see any benifit to the rtd for me.
