That's not just water damage, that's salt water damage.
That car looks to have seen winter driving in an area where they salt the roads.
Once that sets in there's no making nice nice.

Anyone who can help me resolve this issue? Rusty rotors/calipers/hats/caliper bolts. See photos in above thread
I would love to find a place that can make these look like new, and even paint the calipers..
I live in Olympia, WA
Bought car from Lousiana, not a speck of rust on the wheels until a year here. That's not just water damage, that's salt water damage.

thanks for replyKano makes some of the best solvents.
Fuller wire brushes to remove rust, seriously.
I've seen diesel used as a coating.
Easy, doesn't last forever though.
Thanks Spartacus. How much you think the pads and rotors would cost ?The lotus was my first oil change, first brake pad change, sway bar change, and etc. I've never worked on cars until I got the lotus. I'm just trying to say that I'm a newb like yourself and brake pads wasn't too hard to change. Later this summer I'm going to get thew dba 4000 rotor and pads deal from KNS. I'd say do it yourself and you'll slowly feel more confident in doing other things!
