Has anyone tried this? I have Op-COM interface and the software reports that the SDM hasn't been programmed (error code 52). I assume it was replaced at one point and the shop wasn't able or didn't bother to program it.

The OP-COM software can do the programming but you literally only get one shot at this. Once it's been programmed there is no chance for a redo and the only option is to replace the SDM.

It looks pretty straight forward but the warning message to "Please Leave the Vehicle Before Programming" is giving me second thoughts!

So I guess I'm the guinea pig here, lol. This is the last screen before you commit to programming the SDM. I know the Elise has drive and passenger airbags of course and seatbelt pretensioners and no side or curtain airbags.

Does anyone know if it has a sensor that detects if the passenger seat is occupied?
