That's not what my contract says, but my contract also says #32, so maybe there's some wiggle room.

I don't have a build date, I just was called to confirm my options because the factory had asked for another batch of orders.

I guess I assumed the order was placed with the factory, Maybe it's something I should check on.

Hi Steve,

Your production month is scheduled for March 05. If Lotus is still on the current track (slow) it should be here 8-10 weeks after production. Sorry I don't know which week in March but you are the first car scheduled for that month. Feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Last week I made it up to Portland and stopped by the new Lotus dealer Motocorsa. If you love Ducatis it is the place to be. Awesome machinery. Anyway, I spoke to Arun the GM. Heck of a nice guy. They should be getting in some Lotus gear in the next few weeks. My son hadn't seen the Elise in the flesh so Arun took him for a test drive. My son is hoping my car will arrive before Spring so he can take it to prom. I think he will need some significant seat time before I let him do that.

Hello Seattle area Elise owners! If you guys want a start spot for a function we are more than happy to offer our facility. Heck, I'll even provide refreshments. Give me a call at 425-562-1000 to make arrangements. Lets have some fun!

By the way, anyone interested in a track/driving course day????

I'm always up for some track fun!

BTW - The Portland BMW club has a track day on March 18 at PIR; they are a fun group... I'll be there... Look for a BuRP Elise with GUFBALL plates.

Oh Heck Yeah!

That is the only time I'll get to really play with the Elise other than the occasional country backroad (just too visible to the LEOs to play on the street, and it would be too easy anyway)

I'd love to do anything!

Well, Lotus-wise anyways. I leave for Korea for a year on the 26th. so anytime before that would be great.

BTW I saw a silver (not sure if it was GG or ST) parked at Bed bath and beyond on 196th the other day...was it you?

laters,

Trevor

I am on leave so anytime to include weekdays are a great time for me.

Black #047 Elise-wrecked

Dave,

I am the new owner of 05 Starlight Black Elise that was wrecked and sitting at Bel-Red auto rebuild for a long time.

We are in the process of rebuilding it. Do you know the history?

Any background you have is appreciated. The car needs it's roots documented.

Thanks,

Jeff

Newbie to the group - CO 2006 sitting at Park Place with my name on it. Taking delivery around mid-March, then burn through the first 1000 as quick as possible so I can participate in any group events at the track. I've gone over to Spokane track historically with my Audi S4 with a bunch of Porsche 928 guys in mid-April and may go again this year if I can get through breakin. And of course, lots of days at SIR. In fact, Ryan Vanderwel from ParkPlace brought me down the blue elise with stripes to test drive at the Seattle track last November and that is what got me hooked. I vowed never to take my S4 back on the track.

Keep me posted on any get togethers.
