Probably too far for me. It would be cool though. Still need more track time. But I am going to a BMW event in Spokane on the 25th and 26th of March with a buddy of mine who drives an M3. He's been before and said it's pretty fun except for the freaks who think they're Mario Andretti.
I was worried about that straight away actually. He said that he gets up in the mid 130s on it. The M3s will probably crush me. Too bad I don't have the skills to show them up in the corners.
This is more about hanging out with an old friend though for a weekend.
By the way, how fast do you get on the long straight locally? I've never had the confidence to quite push it all the way but I'm curious. I know your car is light and modified.
My only advantage is my 135 that I weigh. I figure that helps.
At Pacific Raceways, I'm pretty much floored from T8 to T2 and I've hit 128MPH (via GPS; the stock speedo is way off; I think it says 140MPH!).
Click on the Elise link in my sig to see some videos at PR. I'll post one that has the speed and lateral/longitudal G's superimposed on the video so you can see my speed throughout the track.
Here is the in car video; only the speed and G's are working so ignore the RPM and other stuff. Sorry about the camera angle, it came loose... ironing out some quirks with a new camera setup and the Race Technology VOB...
I looked at your other cars as well. That turbo is amazing. My old boss had an unmodified '97 turbo s. I used to do the advertising for Porsche about 7 years ago.
hello there. I missed the 2 Lotus events in PR (sorry, need to travel for work. So hard on schedule.). Looking at the Evergreen page, it seems like we are done for the year? I emailed the site, but got no response. Are you guys planning on any gathering in the coming months? Also, any good tips/articles on improving racing skills other than do more track time?
Also any good references on all those terms: Dyno, Intakes? As you could tell I know very little about this. Want to do some catch up quickly.

Might want to check your spam bucket maybe? I sent you an email back in early July.
We generally have two events a month but I need a new web volunteer as out current guy has run out of time to keep things up.
In August, there's a group drive to Windy Ridge and back, September is a shop tour at Group 2 with access to two large car collections on the same block, October is a tech day event I'm not ready to provide details on, November is not planned yet and December is the Holiday Party. And of course we have our bar meet the first Thursday of each month.
I'd provide dates, but I just got back from the ABFM and haven't unloaded my club info out of the car yet. Still too dehydrated. Good turnout for such a hot day though. The highlight was a member's actual for real Lotus Eleven.
Thanks for the info. I guess it must be my junk mail filter. I will mail in the form when I have a chance. Hope I could find a time to join you guys. Very much looking for it.
Thanks again.
