Hi All,

I live pretty much right in the middle of Secor Lotus and Lotus of Boston. I plan on reaching out to one of them to go through my Exige, normal maintenance and just a once over to see if they spot anything of concern. Has any one used any of these dealerships for service and how have your interactions been? or if you know of someone who works on these that's in Rhode Island, that would be great too.

I would HIGHLY recommend Boston Motorsports Alfa Romeo/Maserati. By far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. We just picked up a Stelvio . Met with service department before purchase. Very impressed. Many 5 star reviews online. You could spend an entire afternoon just drooling over the beautiful cars in their showroom.

They deal with and work on a variety of marques, including Lotus.
I used to bring the Elise to Aston Martin Lotus NewEngland for things like windshield and recall on oil coolers, but they are no longer in business.

Aston Martin of Boston is very much open and continues to do lotus warranty work. That being said I have not worked with them before (my first appointment will in April to take care of oil line recall)

love to hear other people’s experience working With eitherplace.

thanks

I bought my Elise at Aston Martin many years ago in Waltham. They were very professional and easy to deal with. Of course many of the individuals I dealt with or the owner for that matter may no longer be involved. Just my two cents.

Randy, the Lotus tech at Secor is TOPSHELF. Dissassembled and reassembled my enitre rear section , motor, tranny etc and ZERO issues. He is the kind of guy I'd want doing a thorough eval on an aging car!
Look up the thread on the BIG REFRESH.

Secor has always left me uncomfortable, barely hanging on with some old cars and one service tech. I drove by recently and the building was completely vacant, not sure if they are renovating and temporarily moved but the address on their website still points to the empty building. I had warranty work done on my S2 Elise in Waltham a few times, no issues and would go back there (now Boston) again.

I was leaning towards Secor but I heard a few people say they didn't like them too much. Id just like to find somewhere reliable that I can go or reach out to when ever I need something.

I've heard a few similar things about Secor and thats what has held me back from scheduling service. What was the dealership in Waltham that you used. I think the Lotus of Boston dealership that I was looking at was located in Norwood.

Secor is very convenient location for me, I was hoping they would get caught up in the big changes at Lotus but so far none of that. The Watlham dealer was Lotus Aston Martin New England Motorsport, they were replaced by the Boston location, I don't know if it's same people or all new.

We need more service options in the area, I need a good quality alignment (corner balance, bump steer correction) and am going to a local race shop instead of Lotus.
