I'll be there !! Stopping at the AutoZone cruise on the way up !
I really wanted to make it ,but I have to work till noon :( . I am never going to make it to anything this year, I am swamped at work. I am going to try to make it to Waterford this time for my first track day but it's not looking too promising.

What?! Honda Conversion?!

more info please:)
More info will be there on Saturday :D

The Honda conversion was developed by SECANT, who are actually based in Detroit area - I don't know much about it, but details at SECANT Vehicles

Note that this is pretty expensive i.e. $15k to $20k I think! But plenty of people have spent that on tuning out a Toyota engine and at 320hp it does offer a level of performance / reliability that is beyond what can be achieved with the Toyota engine.

But ..... come along on Saturday and hear it from Shinoo.
I'm planning on attending, assuming that work does not explode on me.

I met one of the engineers at the Ortonville Fireworks. VERY interesting mod. I remember reading about it in a major magazine where they did a comparison to the Exige S tuned. It would be fun to see them talk more about their swap in depth.

I'm pretty sure it's a GM Ecotec engine, not a Honda...

You're right - like I said, I don't know too much about it!

Checked the website: Supercharged 2 litre, 4 cylinder DOHC GM Ecotec
Crap, can't make it...my ECU is enroute to Charlie X.

It was great meeting some new people and chatting it up. It was very cool for Shinoo from S111 to hang out and shoot the breeze with us.

Here are some pics from Saturday's event:

Looks like you had a good turn out and of course some nice photos:)
Was the first photo of the s1 a silver car before turning yellow?

Also, any info on the fuel tank starvation fix they are now going to offer?

The V2 retrofitted tanks are now available. Tom and the gang at Auto Europe have already installed one into one of their customers cars. The White Exige in the pictures also has a V2 retrofitted tank in it as well.:coolnana:
Ralph! You don't have your airplane listed in your signature !!
