As part of my insurance claim, I understand I'm eligible for a "Loss of Use" payment for those days I had no car and no settlement check.

The Ferrari Appraiser said that rental rates can be used to establish a reasonable cost.

So.. does anyone know a shop in San Diego, Los Angeles, or SoCal in general that rents the Lotus Elise?

I can find one in Vegas, but that's it.

Any pointers?

Thanks!

I know Enterprise locations throughout SoCal were renting them for awhile, although I'm not sure if they still are. It's worth a call.

I rented one from the Enterprise in Thousand Oaks.

I second the BH Rent a Car recommendation. I rented a CO Elise from them about a year ago for a couple of days in order to gauge my interest in owning an Elise.

BTW you can get a 10% discount on the rate if you mention the offer at BH Rent a Car Hot Deals.

I rented one 2 years ago in San Diego from Enterprise rental. They have 3 cars but you have to supply your own insurance.

$300 a day is hooker rates. You need to get adjust your thinking. For instance, my pic is available for $150. Now an Elise is a great car, but please, not that great.
Who's the chick, and why isn't she in my bed right now?

you are by far the hottest tinfoil hat wearing person i have ever heard of. Don't you realize you are supposed to be a crazy old guy wandering the street with a placard saying the end is nigh?
