I was told today by cathy at matheny that lotus has sent a memo stating all cars invoiced after sept. 1st will have an incress of about $950.00
they delay getting the cars to us and then feel fit to charge us more. tell me what everybody thinks about this.

Sounds fishy, do you have any support for your statement? I don't mean to be a "party pooper" but I see way too many "UFO" stories on this discussion group to believe anything like this with out the slightest bit of proof. No dis-respect to you, of course - I'm just stating the obvious and asking for some verification.

In my job we deal with a consulting firm in London (Native Design) and with the exchange rate fluctuations it's difficult to keep the costs down. On the other hand the designers love to buy stuff over here because of the low prices. I would rather pay the exchange rate penalty than have Lotus cheapen the product.

Hmmm you are right. This morning it still listed the old price.
