Does anyone know if the shift knob for a Celica GTS will fit the Elise? How about any thread info. And counter sink info to accomodate the reverse mechanism.

I would like to get a Hardbar Delrin shift knob if I can, so I am trying to gather enough information to try and get one or get one made.

I saw a schematic of the total gearing
system upon visiting the parts dept. @ Manhattan Motorcars (Elise Dealer).
It shows photos of eveything from the
knob..on down but lists no specific size information. Sent a copy to Imotorgear, the Momo knob people, and asked if they could determine anything about the thread size and if
their adaptors will allow for a perfect
fit. They haven't responded. The only
thing they told me was that the
universal thread size is 14mm.
