This Elise is Starlight Black with a red interior and the factory Touring package. It has 47,676 miles on the clock. This Outlaw was built as the ultimate canyon carver that is also track capable. It has over $35k in parts upgrades- not including labor It has a CA salvage title as it previously suffered rear clam damage. No chassis damage was incurred and the car was repaired properly – photos are available.

I've owned this car for 3 years and upgraded it to reflect what I wanted in an Elise Outlaw. Performance and aesthetics followed my philosophy – a balanced approach to tuning. This Elise received all the mechanical upgrades (radiator, oil lines, toe link brace, etc) that correct short comings from the factory. It was our test mule for the Racetech & DNA upgrades we now offer. In fact those upgrades plus the ETHOS wheels deliver amazing grip but with compliance that is down right comfortable. The sound of this car is also wicked and is sure to leave you laughing every time you dip into the second cam – otherwise it remains dead silent when cruising around. The shift action and feel is another revelation…

This Outlaw has been fully serviced with Motul fluids including the alignment after the shocks were rebuilt in May. It has been professionally detailed – inside and out. Buy this Elise with full confidence that it is a solid car that was well maintained by Lotus experts. Smog just completed and 2021 tags in hand.

You all know that I buy, upgrade and then sell every Lotus I've owned. The folks who have bought my previous cars have been pleased with owning a properly tuned/maintained Lotus. Plus they have saved on the cost/hassle of sorting out quality upgrades. This Outlaw is probably the best deal I've ever offered and someone is gonna be really happy... I have another Elise (high mileage) that I intend to upgrade and build into the new 111RS. See more info: HERE

I am happy and excited to inform that I am the new owner of Shinoo's Outlaw Elise!

I flew in from Florida earlier this week, met with Shinoo, test drove the car, we negotiated a little and closed the deal yesterday.

The experience couldn't have been better. Shinoo is a very special person, a combination of borderline Genius and mad scientist. I said that with the utmost respect and admiration. He is a class act. Extremely humble and friendly but a true professional. My first contact with him was over the phone, he took a lot of time to explained the journey of this car and concept. Me been new to the Elsie (even thou this is my third one in 4 months), he was very patient and explained every single upgrade in the car. It raised my interested to make an appointment to see the car.

The second interaction was me visiting his shop. He was very welcoming and showed me his amazing shop with amazing cars in different stages, from parts cars to show room condition "Best In Show" examples. Then he showed me his Elise, again took a lot of his precious time to explained and show me every things and so many upgrades in the car. We went for a test drive where he drove the car through some close by canyons. What a thrill! He was showing me the capabilities of the car, almost to the point of me getting sick, 🤪 I am a professional pilot, I don't get sick easily. Then I drove the car back . . . this car handles like no other car I ever driven. Truly amazing.

I have to sleep over the deal but after a short over the phone negotiation the next day we agree on a deal. The transaction was as smooth as it gets, once again he took another few hours to go over the car again with me. Showed me all the in and outs and all the adjustments that can be done to the suspension He is even handling the shipping of the car all the way to south Florida. I could not be happier with the car and the overall experience. Shinoo is an amazing person, stand up guy, super passionate and knowledgeable about these cars. His professionalism is second to none. Cheers!

Congrats on buying Shinoo’s Elise. Nicely equipped car.

He’s a stand up guy. I’ve been buying parts from him since the beginning of his business. Great to deal with.

Thank you, I am new to the Elise but hooked for life. Shinoo is also a wealth of knowledge on these cars and happy to help, very humble and accessible.

My "2nd" Elise was because the 1st wasn't quite what I was looking for, but a great car...the 2nd came for sale with effectively exactly what I wanted. (A bone stock Chrome Orange to AutoX in SCCA AStreet) The S240 was because at this time I'm fortunate to be able to get something more exciting too!
Not sure if Nelson is keeping all 3, but IIRC, he traded his first, to get the 2nd..

Not investment for me, just a weird situation. I got my first Elsie about 4 months ago, but a month later I found another Elise that I like better. I traded in the first one and bought a newer one. About a month after that, I wrecked the second one. I appears that a toe link sheared while on a turn, spun it and hit the concrete barrier. A long story short; The car was totaled. It took a month about a month to get the settlement from Geico. I'm so hooked on these cars that searched and searched . . . bought Shinoo's yesterday.

Thank you. I really didn't has a single scratch. The hits didn't fell bad the car hit the cement guard, with the front passenger side corner, bounced off and hit the rear passenger side corner. Both clams were damaged and the suspension in both side had some damaged. Possibly repairable oe worst case replace the clams, But the insurance company bureaucracy was unbelievable. Geico originally pick it up and send it to Copart. The rocket scientists there could not figured out what car this was so it was classified and a Mazda Miata! Total repair cost estimate of $3,900. No, I am not making this **** up, and it went down from there. Very long story but at the end the car lost . . . I fought them as much as I could, ended up with 2 estimates, one from a dealer and one from a Lotus specialist shop, I even paid out of pocket for the "storage fee: that the dealer charged over $800 Geico was unworkable to the point of exhaustion, they keep changing stories and changing the rules on me. The car ended up getting a certificate of destruction. Totally unjustified and unseasonably. It was a beautiful 2006 car with 24,000 at the time of the accident. I am planning on filing a complaint with the state insurance regulators. I learned a lot through the process, one main point, and the bestr advice to Lotus owners, find a better insurance company. I could get a much higher and a lot better coverage for a LOT less money by going to a specialty car insurance company. Specially since I have another car for normal activities and the car is garaged. Lesson learned for the new one. Also, make sure that the toe links are upgraded. Inokinetics offer better toe links and a toe link brace. This should be a must for ALL the cars, tracked or not. Actually, I'll say it here, the toe links should be another factory recall due to the amount of the issues and the significance of the outcome when they fail at any speed. If you haven't done this to your car, or are not sure about it, do yourself and your family a big favor, call Inokinetics and order their upgrade toe links and brace kit. Cheap insurance for a high failed part system. A few other lessons but this post is long enough already. Happy to talk to you guys and share a few more lessons learned if anyone is interested.

I joined this forum soo long ago, it's a shame I dont have more posts but I'm more of an information seeker and a low key lurker . However what I've noticed in years of following a car/brand I've driven, admired, hated, lol the cycle continues. The post of appreciation from the buyer epitomizes my love for being involved in any forum of cars I've owned, or especially this one. When you are legitimately involved in appreciation for a certain (anything) even if u tend to just lurk around d for info the community will show you what they are all about, honestly. There are things I follow that people are truly about the item, or just specifically there to take advantage of lesser informed newbies for profit. It's nice to see tru representation, and anostinishig honest in sales and purchase assistance from original posters. I attribute this mostly to the community, but San and
d all involved in keeping certain standards. I truly thought "this was my year", however scarcity of available vehicles/ attainable offers, and what happened to my financials due to current situations, I hope its next hear that I get to announce my excitement and interaction with as great of an offer/seller/member.
