Hmmm that solar powered trickle battery charger idea could be a nice option for some people now !

Trickle charger would be good but not on the roof. The front access panels would have been a better location so that they're easy to replace and so you don't lose the ability to charge if you remove the roof. Additionally you could place another solar panel on the dash since it's big enough and those things don't weigh much.

All this eco-friendliness is fine and dandy but the moment you lay down the hammer you'll be burning more fuel than an iraqi oil well.
