Might have been, it was headed towards Tahoe around 9:00 a.m on Saturday morning. It definitely was a U.S. edition. Were there other U.S. Elises besides the red one that you autocrossed?

That was a Type R conversion S2 Elise. It was at the concours event. In fact I believe they took the trophy for the best Elise at the concours. The couple that owned the car just bought it the week before.

The red one was the only Federal Elise there. There were a couple of "grey market" cars and at least one "track use" Elise.
BTW You have a great track out there at Fernley. Wish we were as close as you !

The folks at Reno-Fernley are aware of the "rough" runoffs. It's on their list to improve. Given the work they've done and the speed at which they've accomplished it I'm confident it will happen quickly.

We had one off at the WCLM track day, no harm except some dings on the airdam. But, generally it made folks stay on the black stuff.
