I did this a while ago so I forgot to mention that I used blue locktite. Thanks for pointing this out.
And before someone points out it is not infinitly variable length, but is continously variable.
Simpler shifter mod "bushing"
Insted of a bushing I used one nut and washer where the bolt goes into the floor and one nut and washer against the shifter bracket. Infinitly variable length....no stacking washers or cutting bushings to the right sze.
