I changed the thermostat on my 2005 Elise about a month ago, as it was staying open and the car wouldn't come up to temperature.
Ever since, I have had a slow coolant leak. Logic would dictate that the leak is a result of me doing something wrong during the thermostat change. After I noticed the leak, I went back in (ugh) to check that I had tightened down the two nuts on the thermostat housing enough - I had.
Only thing I can think of is that perhaps I didn't seat the thermostat quite right, causing the o-ring gasket to not seal the housing? Anything else I could be missing?
And yes, my coolant u-tube is wrapped.
