I ordered a carbon fiber license plate frame for the rear

just to get the dealer one off - and of course it drops about 2 grams :)

anyone working on something more interesting?

No frame at all saves even more weight. ;)

So does delaying putting on plates:

i've avoided putting on the front plate - just can't do it

also avoided getting an inspection sticker - gotta do it this week

went to the good sound guys - we are going to add a passenger 8in sub above the kick plate area - shouldn't reduce any leg room and definitely add some punch

also going tos wap out the speakers for 4 MB quartz speakers

dual tweeter/woofer fronts and mid bass in rear

should help a ton with a very minimal weight increase - nothing extravagent just enough for some bass

i live in pro audio and hearing that system makes me cry :)

of course to counter that - i never use it since hte car sounds so damn good :)

I'm with you

I'm thinking along the same lines... I rarely use the audio system, usually when I'm stuck in Atlanta traffic, but when I want to use it I want it to sound OK at least. I plan on reducing weight in other areas, so the overall weight shouldn't change.
