On the 599...I am not sure. It is a Ferrari in all it senses. Power is just ridiculous, comfort is what you can expect and then more, performance is mind blowing BUT it felt big and heavy. Especially after I drove the F430. Let's put it this was, It was like driving a M5...love it but the M3 is still the more fun to own.

Was this a celebrity event?... just kidding and jealous. Looks like it was a blast. Great pics!

BM, did you see that "making of the 599" the discovery channel put out? It was the entire car from pouring the block to finish- really sweet.

They had just received the 8C that day...Only one I could not drive. They had not prepared it. But got to start it and listen to it revving it. Sounds incredible!
Same motors thats in the 2002 Maserati coupe and spiders that you can buy for under $30k now if you really want to hear that sweet sound all day. Its a helluva motor.

Oh good on the scarcasm, I was like there's no way he missed that label on the side. Sorry I did not mean to offend Op, thanks for sharing. You can never be to certain, there are a lot of car ignorant people on here, esp. the ones that never heard of a Lotus and bought one because it's cute and they wanted to learn stick.

Was that the World Class Driving Experience? How was it? Was it worth the money? How much time you get to spend on each car and can you push them a little? Sorry for so many questions :D

That was WCD. It was great. We got over 30 min per car. 8 Of them. We were out all and all 6-7 hours.

Do not know about $$$. Was a birthday gift. But worth every penny to me!

And yes we pushed the cars...real hard at times!

I am trying to get them to do an event here in Austin at a local track. Hope they go for it.

From the FAQS off their website.

" How much does the WCD US Tour cost?

For $1,695, including all taxes (or what would be the price of a half day rental for a Ferrari F430) you will be able to drive five of the best super exotic cars in the world (see our list above). The price includes hospitality (continental breakfast, lunch buffet, non-alcoholic beverages, snacks) WCD gift pack - including driver's certificate, 3-D crystal etching of your favorite car and photographs of the day's experience.

Please check out the testimonials from our participants. If you admire the design and performance of supercars and wish to experience them first hand, you will not be disappointed. We offer a driving experience not a race. Learning how to drive high performance cars with finesse is a thrill! "

If you do it...make sure to ask them what cars they will bring to that location. Was supposed to drive the GT2 but was replaced by R8 (yawn!). All in all it is a great experience and very frustrating...Knowing that it will take me a while before I can get one of these in my garage. Elise fits the bill though :)

+1 for the M3, i've driven one a few times (With Supervision :D) and it felt amazing, plus with the top down, wow...People sometimes say "It's not as fast as a ferrari" and stuff, but I've seen Turbo Kits for the M3 rip GT-Rs, F430s, and Murcielagos to pieces . And plus with Convertible Vs. Coupe, it's about the same, but more fun in a 'Vert. I digress...

Is one of those a 560-4? Nice...
