I'm considering a soft top for my Exige and am curious about the two versions. Any insights from people that have experience with both would be appreciated.
  1. Is the insulated top noticeably quieter?
  2. Is the non-insulated top easier to roll up or store?
  3. Does either top require more effort to install/remove than the other?
  4. Are both tops equally well finished or lined on the inside (bottom)?
  5. Do you have a personal preference and why?
And if you have one to sell, please feel free to PM me.
Thanks in advance!

ive had both and

1: yes
2: a little bit, but no big deal
3: no
4: same top, Touring just has the additional piece of insulation stuff in it
5: touring, because it is that little quieter

Hope that helps

Thanks to the OP for asking these questions - I wanted to know myself.

The one nice thing about the non-insulated top, I suppose, is that it wouldn't eventually start coming apart (but that's an easy add-a-screw fix). My insulated top keeps me warm in the winter. Don't know if that's much of a factor in NoCal.
