Here's links to 2 soft-tops on eBay... I just did the conversion to my 2008 S-240... It's really nice to have the convertable option and not worry about the weather...

eBay Motors: 2005 Lotus Elise Soft Top (item 130242740785 end time Aug-03-08 12:09:10 PDT)

and yet another:

eBay Motors: Lotus Elise Soft Top Roof 2005-2008 (item 160266773852 end time Aug-05-08 12:40:48 PDT)

Good Luck... I paid $700.00 for an insulated soft-top in perfect condition off eBay... The parts to put the plugs in the rear cross member were about $17.00...

Here are the parts needed... 2 of each...

B117B0480K Plug Spacer

yes, i wouldn't have an exige any other way. for us in SoCal, it's not foul weather more than the fact that sometimes, you're out driving and the sun starts to get too harsh and cooks you like a ribeye. it's nice to have the option to throw the soft top on at a moment's notice.

heck if you just lived with the soft top and sold your S240 hardtop, you could probably retire ;)

What does the "conversion" consist of? I just put the Proalloy charge cooler in so my roof scoop is of REALLY no benefit now (as opposed to having been mostly no benefit with the air to air intercooler) so I'd really like this option.

They both sold... One auction ended early... I suspect the seller made a private deal... The other one sold for $910.00 to a bidder from Singapore...

Cautionary note:

When I did my conversion I followed the steps in the link. I believe some of the measurements in the link are off...the distance to inset the grommets from the side top mounting brackets.

It's and easy job, just measure four times before you cut. Don't take the measurements in the link as accurate without double/triple checking first.
