And yes comptalk, Solar is fine. Both are great, but as you asked, I've seen solar, and they look great.

Now before some more discussion that's completely random, might as well close the thread, seeing as how the question was answered.

I am a Saffron owner and see a deeper hue of orange present in SY. Solar is a slightly lighter yellow to my eyes - plus with sparkles. Opinion: I'm not a fan of metal flake too often, unless it's slight and done right. Looks cheap IMHO. Solar is fairly slight and I think the color works.

I have onwed both Solar and Saffron. Saffron is definitely lighter, although all Lotus yellows are dark by comparison to other cars. Solar is almost bordering on orange, it's that dark. But when the light hits it just right, magic happens.
