9k tach and exhaust movie (mr2) + drag *updated

Someone on SC wanted to hear my exhaust and if anyone wants to see a tach rev to 9k here ya go... (yes I was semi bored).

Added later... The car was never dyno tuned and I need to do that. The PFC's settings were modified while driving around for 30 min. after the car was put back together. I had to drive back to NC from Houston about an hour after that.

Sorry about the low quality. I didn't have the Firewire cable... Had to use the USB and line-in (not my camera... sorry the cameraman sucks... He has A D D). I need to do the 8k rpm drop... oh well. Perhaps next time. Tires were bald, cheap, Kuhmos. Wasn't concerned with the light a lot of the time either. Reaction times are easy to keep low when you go on the third yellow.

That Mustang GT is my friend's. Dynoed at 360hp (supercharged).

You can hear the wheel hop. Also you can hear me miss 3rd. The only gear I ever seemed to miss for some reason. I guess I didn't have a good neutral feeling before trying to throw it directly up.

Toyota Supra loses, and I miss 3rd again.

Oh yeah the night of the drag races they were putting out water on the track because there were a lot of big boys and hardly any imports. I didn't have the tread to do a burnout and drive around later (especially w/ the rain about to come... come on have to keep a little!... plus I can't go on pass in the Army w/o a vehicle inspection).







Lift engages at 6k and turns off at 5.8k on the way down.

Some one once told me at a club race that a load free rev like the one in your video's is horrible for an engine. Not sure how true this is but I thought I would share!

Would any moderator like to help me change the title?

Something like: 9k tach/exhaust/drag/roadrun MR-S Videos :).
