Some other members and owners in the area let me know about the annual toy rally which I have perpetually missed. I've been watching the website like a hawk and registration is now open for the 2014 South Florida Exotic Car Toy Rally to benefit Toys for Tots.

I'm not being a stickler but "In addition, Participant hereby releases and agrees to hold harmless Organizer and other participants from any liability whatsoever from any claims, damages or injuries arising from or related to the Event. Furthermore, Participant hereby assumes and accepts full responsibility and liability, and further agrees to hold Organizer and other participants harmless, and releases same from any liabilities whatsoever, and shall indemnify and defend same from any claims, damages or injuries, regardless of whether or not Organizer or other participants were negligent in any way whatsoever. "

So if you get rear-ended it's on you? I was thinking about signing up but accidents happen and i feel this is not very fair. Some idiot driving crazy and hits me I'm not paying for the damages. Not holding organizers and other affiliated is one thing but all participants? Very good cause but read the waiver!

DD are you serious? If you are then sell your car find a cave, wrap yourself in a lead blanket and hope nothing happens. Just don't camp in Yellowstone as it may explode. All in fun but there has never been an accident. Have some fun! I guess the track days are out as well.

The police escorts are advised to kick out anyone passing other participants, driving erratically, etc. It is a controlled environment. Trust me, they have removed people almost every year. Go and enjoy its a good time!

I've participated in the Toy Rally since it's inception. It has evolved into a first class event. Fred does an amazing job at organizing it every year.

The police escort is spectacular. There is ZERO tolerance for any fvcking around. I feel very safe as a driver knowing that this event is more than just showing off your shiny car. Each year more money and toys are donated than the prior year.

I'll be there this year with my 2004 Esprit.

I'll probably make it out this year. Be cool to meet other fellow Lotus drivers since they are non-existent in my area. Worst part is the drive early in the morning to be there by 8am!
