I know we were going to try to do this last year, but the idea came and went. How many Northeast owners would like to try to get together for a meet and greet barbecue this Spring? I am thinking at a State or local park somewhere. There is actually a great spot right here in Rocky Hill, which is loated at the very center of the state. Let me know if you are interested and if you could help out with the plans.

I know this is an old thread, but I am also interested in getting a CT meet together. I aslo tried to start another thread about it. I am out with my lotus almost every weekend and am looking to go have some fun with other lotus guys ie driving, karting, cruising, anything really.

I'd be interested. As for others, my availability would depend on the date and location (although Rocky Hill sounds like a good compromise on the latter point).

I'd be interested once I get my poor Elise up & running again. It's been sitting in my garage all winter long with no trickle charge on the battery so it's dead! I haven't driven it since December & am "champing at the bit"....

The Cayman Club will be having an event in CT 3/28/09. It will be a drive and then on to Fairfield County Motorsport in Fairfield, CT to see some of the Modified Porsche's that they are building. Maps for the route should be posted on the Cayman Club site later today or tomorrow. I'll post them here on LT for those who are interested. Lotus Club members are welcome to attend. If your not interested in seeing the cars at Fairfield County Motorsport you can still participate in the drive. Bavarian Motorist there's always food involved with Cayman Club drives.

Two Cayman Club members drove (scouted) the route today. All I know right now is that we'll be meeting at a rest area on I-684 and that our final destination will be:
Fairfield County Motorsport
190 Carter Henry Drive
Fairfield, CT 06824
203-256-9291

I'll post more info later when I get it.

We have about 15 or 20 cars that will be participating from the Cayman Club.
Fairfield Ct. Motorsports Open House, Sat. 3/28 - Planet Porsche

I'm still waiting for the maps to be posted.
The owner of Fairfield County Motorsport said that they also work on Lotus cars and he posted pictures of an Elise (on the Cayman Club web site)
that he's working on.

Hey fun4two what town are you in? Also for anyone else interested, the New England Ferrari Chat guys will be at Starbucks in Rocky Hill again this Sunday morning. Last week I was there, along with those folks, a bunch of bikes a corvette gathering as well. I should be there this Sunday morning. Hopefully some other Lotus folks will come by and join the fun.
