IS anyone going to be addressing this in the near future?
I want to get the airbags removed for safety reasons and also have the horn back where it ought to be (in the middle) so I don't honk while AX'ing next year.
Please PM me, if you don't want to post.
If I remove the passenger airbag also, does anyone know if there is a replacement part from Lotus to make the dash look normal again?

I foresee this thread being hijacked by airbag advocates

I'm also interested in this. There are many legitimate reasons for removing airbags, so you won't get any flames from me. Just don't try this question on a "paranoia forum". :D

You could yank the horn fuse for auto-x...and disable the airbags electrically. Everyone seems to gets some horn from time to time when Auto-xing the Elise!

I'd like to disable the airbags as well... I don't trust them with how close I sit to the wheel and would rather take my chances with a seatbelt.

I wish Lotus had put a switch somewhere to disable them :(

Sector 111 is offering a drop-dead gorgeous CF wheel, weighs next to nothing. Drool-drool. I think it's a Reverie but not sure.
