I took the driver's side seat bracket out to touch up the paint on it, and a strange piece fell out of the bar stock. Any ideas what it is?

I removed my seats and cant remember which end it goes on but it sits under the bolt on the floor. I think the drivers rear, turns inward towards the slider and functions as a stop also a washer. Hard to see when you remove the bolt because its the same color as the rails. You most likely removed the bolt and didn't see it. Check the other side too.

They are the the rear stops for the sliding driver seat and are bolted down together with the rear seat bolts

Rear seat bolt stops.

When in doubt, look at the parts diagrams on the DeRoure or LotusGarage site. Or just download the SELOC app.

Photo of bolts/brackets

When I installed my Clam Hinge, I took photos of the bolts/brackets orientation to make sure I assembled them correctly. Here is the shot for the driver side if it helps.
