Actually the Exiga :p

http://www.subaru.jp/exiga/exiga_pre/

Guess they couldn't come up with an original name. Even the font used by Subaru for the name looks like the S1 Exige.

The good news is that the Exige is nothing like our beloved Exige.
The bad news is that people will now think we drive a Subaru.

As if I don't already have enough people asking me what kind of car this is...:thwack:

Being that its the Japanese website, did you ever think that its just the Japanese release of the next gen Tribeca?? BTW its due in the states in 2010! That's why they upsized the new Forrester, to fill the 5 seater void this new model will cause.

Oh I think the thing is downright ugly IMO. It is like some cross between a station wagon and a mini van (seating 7).

The Japanese page serves as a pre-release announcement. I guess that is appropriate given Subaru is a Japanese brand.

If there are thousands of these things on the road, I think the name will stick in peoples minds.

most of the time, the Japanese counterparts of the cars brought to the US do NOT share the same name, provided that the car mentioned is even going to be available for the US market
