Where are all the Lotus this weekend? Only a few responses from the Lotus crew... So far the Ferrari crowd will outnumber the Lotus crew... Send in the RSVPs...

Hope to see you on Sunday...

Bull, this weekend is the Annual Lotus Party (Lotus Ltd Picnic, McGovern BBQ, whatever the correct name is)... 20th is scheduled day, 21st is the rain date. I'm guessing this might have something to do with it? I know I can't afford to make it an "all car weekend."

And the 21st is the Meeting of the Marques in Boiling Springs, Pa. Decent sized British Car show with some other europeans allowed on the field.

Should've organized a back road drive up there, it's a nice setting.

Plus there's a small VW air-cooled car show way up in PA right by my place on Sunday. Too bad, I even washed my car on Sunday and updated my Booty shot with the rear panel eliminator from Sector 111. I love the new look:D

When are any of his drives, not "spirited"? ;) Although not a full-blown CTD (Crash-Test-Dummies) drive, I'm sure there will probably be at least a few opportunities at least, for some spirited segments for some, to occur. Ken - feel free to correct as need be.

If weather is good both Sat & Sun (so that the picnic does not spill into this), I will be there.

Looking forward to it!

I read all about the scenery and was worried it would lack the spirit -eek-

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the cruisin' type drives

This is a more laid back cruise... There will be a lot more cars for me to keep track of (50-60)... I'm trying to keep the big cruises to no more than 60 cars... My 1st tour of the year had 103 cars and it was a tremendous amount of work...

Ken - I've got like 5-6 EXTRA FRS/GMRS as well, if you need 'em, let me know and I can bring 'em.

Tomorrow's weather forecast is nothing short of spectacular... There's still room for a few more cars... So, if you're looking for something to do, come and join us...

We should top 50 cars for this tour... The scenery and roads are incredible...

Gina and I hope to see you at Starbucks in Mt. Airy between 8-9:00am...

Great tour, as always, Ken!

Only one follow-up question though...
Does that event insurance policy happen to cover non-returned FRS/GMRS 2-ways? Seems I've got 2, that along with the new energizer batteries I put in 'em, just "kept on going".

Anyone who mighta gotten home and realized they still had one of these and forgot, can maybe just drop me a line?

So, who's got pictures to post? Awesome event!

THANKS KEN!!
