Hi,

i went to the service shop (not the dealer) this morning for a noise coming from the engine. We found that the noise is coming from the coupler of the Supercharger.

My mecano asked me to find an explode view of the supercharger/coupler and a "how to" manual to change (i guess the bearing) in the coupler... He has a pretty good idea how it is and how to do, but want to be sure.

If anyone have a file, pdf, video, anything on this or maybe tell me where to find this, cause i already have a bunch of shop manual but i can't find this one... Your help would be much more than appreciated.

This is an Elise SC 2007.

BTW, does he need to remove the rear clamshell to do this??

Thanks!

You are referring to the snout? This part:

The supercharger is a common MP62 from Eaton, if that helps your research any.

CORRECTION: The Elise SC uses a form of the Eaton MP45. The MP62 is for the Exige variety.
