I have confirmed that the city of Milwaukee & town of Oconomowoc WI have indeed thrown salt on the roads in the past 24 hours

Mat, I know 94 and 43 were salted due to all the accidents last night. Josh also saw salt on his way to work in the Waukesha/Wales/Genesee area and it is salty here at my work on Hwy 100.

This is all my fault... I put my cars back on insurance yesterday morning thinking the roads would be clean for this week. Then, I saw the piles of salt this morning

I-294 had salt trucks out last night from Lake Forest down to Elmhurst. Saw cnty(?) trucks spreading salt on major rds---North Ave/64, Lake str/20 and Hwy 83. Plenty of snow on the ground this AM. Still covering the foliage at sunset today. It left a LOVELY white film on my truck. It will be at least a week before some of that crap is washed off the road surfaces.

I hate salt! They recently started going crazy with liquid salt deicer this winter, I swear that crap seems to be harder to wash off the roads.

I just heard from one of my guys that they salted the NYS Thruway between Buffalo and Rochester. So we are off the roads till more rain.

Don't know if they salted the back roads around here.
