I'm looking to replace my driver's seat, but being 6'3" I had to lower the OEM seat using a sector111 TALLrail (called downlo or something back when I bought it).

Has anyone tried putting a technocraft on the TALLrail? (man I hate the upper/lower case s111 thing).

update: called Sector111, they said 'probably' or something along those lines. Not enough to gamble $1200 on.

FWIW, being 6'2" I wondered for some time if those TALLrails would be worth having in my Elise. Then my son (also 6'2") bought a 2007 Exige S with the rails pre-installed. We both found that while offering more head room (good if wearing a helmet), the lower seat height led to a more cocked angle of the knees (not so good), and the rails don't allow for any fore/aft seat adjustment.

I'd conclude that the rails may be good for tall people who need more room for helmet clearance, or tall people with relatively short legs who don't share the car with shorter drivers.
