Was by there early, won't let you drive, but got a ride and a photo op

That may be the only sales/marketing car that Tesla has out there (in advance of the NY store opening later this year) but by no means is it the "only" Tesla Roadster on the east coast
I was able to get by just before they started their "top of the hour" raffle drawings for rides for the 3PM hour. The rep made mention of a few of you guys having also already been there before me. They allowed me to pull my car in the "staging area" they had set up for it, in front of the model home (did anyone even bother looking at that? :shrug so I could get a few shots. Didn't have enough time to stick around to put in for the 4PM rides raffle, so this was it for me. These "show cars" sure take a beating though, don't they? Just the very short time I was there, I saw a number of big-ol' pocket-book buckle drags across the paint, and this one kid literally trying to climb on this, as if his own personal jungle-gym! :crazyeyes
Oh yeah, I snapped my shots as quickly as I could, and then I DD'd the heck outa there! :shift:

Gosh, don't know what to tell you...it's the builder's and Tesla dealer's claims, not mine. Personally, I really couldn't care one way or another.
