Hours? ...I've got some final de-hibernation work to do still, but if all completed soon enough - I may swing by!

You may be correct. The ad in the paper today for this event said it's the East Coast premier, but that may just be a come-on.
East Coast Premier? That's an odd claim considering the dozens of customer deliveries and public showings the Roadster's been at since last year.

Dozens of cars delivered on the East Coast? According to the Tesla rep today, this demo car is the only one on the east coast, been here for 2 months, and he drove it down from the only east coast dealer, in NY.

That may be the only sales/marketing car that Tesla has out there (in advance of the NY store opening later this year) but by no means is it the "only" Tesla Roadster on the east coast :)

I was able to get by just before they started their "top of the hour" raffle drawings for rides for the 3PM hour. The rep made mention of a few of you guys having also already been there before me. They allowed me to pull my car in the "staging area" they had set up for it, in front of the model home (did anyone even bother looking at that?) so I could get a few shots. Didn't have enough time to stick around to put in for the 4PM rides raffle, so this was it for me. These "show cars" sure take a beating though, don't they? Just the very short time I was there, I saw a number of big-ol' pocket-book buckle drags across the paint, and this one kid literally trying to climb on this, as if his own personal jungle-gym! :crazyeyes

Oh yeah, I snapped my shots as quickly as I could, and then I DD'd the heck outa there! :shift:

Gosh, don't know what to tell you...it's the builder's and Tesla dealer's claims, not mine. If it's that troubling, call the number above to get details.

Personally, I really couldn't care one way or another.:panic:
