The home site for the Lotus Owners of South Texas (LOST) can be found in Yahoo Groups. Membership is free and it is the primary source for event info and group gatherings and events.

Al B.
Or Lotus Owners of South Texas but the Yahoo Groups habit has been hard for folks to break (despite the superior format of forums -poke-).

The Facebook link above is the one most used by the NTLC members.

Lotuscars.us will redirect you to the google+ album mentioned above which belongs to Ryan Li.

Northtexaslotusclub.com will take you to the NTLC website but I don't know how well it is being monitored or updated.

I don't think anyone is using the yahoo groups

Bottom line--try the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/lotuscars and if you don't get a reply let me know and I will ping the administrator.

Sorry I missed you. I was there with my black Elise.

The next meeting at the Londoner in Addison is on the 15th (third Tuesday of every month).

Here's a pic of that "badass" Elan+2:)

From an email I put together for a friend coming to Texas, I thought it would help fellow Lotus owners with an itch to get their car on the track where it belongs! :D

Some of the clubs in Texas to drive with, on their websites you will often find the information about the local tracks. They just do HPDEs at this time (fun track days, no time trials) --

The Drivers Edge

Another is Apex Driving Academy

NASA: http://www.nasatx.com/ (HPDE/TimeTrial/Races)

For two auto-x clubs check out: Equipe Rapide SCC - Autocross club - Texas - News

There is also a lot of PCA and BMWCA and of course SCCA stuff in our area...

https://www.bmwcca.org/chapter/lone-star-chapter
PCA: Maverick Region
The Sports Car Club of America - About

Here are the tracks, many have their own "drivers days" also, check out their websites or call them for opportunities to drive their tracks:

Motorsport Ranch
Eagles Canyon Raceway
Texas World Speedway
Harris Hill Raceway - Motorsports Clubs, Driving School, HPDE, and Corporate Events
http://msrhouston.com/
Circuit of The Americas
Soon to be built Bluebonnet: http://www.clubtrackholdings.com/
Just outside of Texas:
Hallett Motor Racing Circuit
NOLA Motorsports Park | New Orleans, LA Race Track, Karting & Events Center

That will get you started, hope that helps!! Welcome to Texas! ;)

One of the groups you can drive with in Texas has cool charity - allowing anyone to ride with the advanced drivers for a small donation (~$25 for as much as you can stomach lol) - that includes with cars like this! Just show up anytime they have an event during weekend to watch for free or ride for a small donation. Of course you can always sign up to drive your own car with or without driver's instruction/coaching.
See video's description and contact links on YouTube for more info!

I post my lap times in this data base: Track Lap Times database - Lotus -- hopefully others will too - to give you an idea of lap times for a Lotus on a Texas track and also other states as well.
