I am getting ready to sell my car--see details below. Photos can been seen at adam05elise - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting. I will have a price shortly--and I am open to offers--but it will def be in the 40's.

2005 Lotus Elise –Ardent Red with stripes and tons of upgrades.

Purchased from Hunting Ridge Motors in Feb 2005 and shipped directly to LA (not one day in the cold!). Selling because I just don’t drive it. Under 2,000 miles (the 3,000 in the orig post was a typo). No dings. Always garaged. ONE total track day—and it was soft. Yoko’s plenty of tread. Car maintained at BH Lotus. Fun and loud—still a head turner. The interior is the nicest you will see in any Lotus—I did all the Alcantera upgrades (like suede--but I dont think any Alcanteras were killed for it!). Was one of the first in LA to have an Elise—and it still stands out! Forgive me as I have not settled on a price yet—if you are interested LMK and I will get back with a price. Here are the details:

$42,990 MSRP

A business associate of the op and myself knows I'm a Lotus guy and sent me a disk with dozens of photos of every inch of this car. it's pretty spectacular imho. Flat black racing stripes over red with yellow pin stripes. Interior is gorgeous. A really unique but classy looking car. Hopefully the seller can get some of the photos I saw up soon. (don't think it's my place to do it, I don't know this person).

I'm not usually a fan of heavily customized cars, but this one appears to be very tastefully done. Good luck with your sale,

John

not to threadjack, but where did you get the shifter cover (the silver one with the gear marks on it). This car has to be worth over 30k, i have been watching the used market pretty closely for the last 2 months and have seen worse go for more.
