People First is a great on-line loan service and their current rate is 3.49%. I've used them in the past. They are very easy and quick. They'll send you a blank check that you write to the dealer when you pick up the car.

Wow. Sorry to hear your experience was so bad. That is 180 deg from my experience. I used them to finance several vehicles over the years. I never experienced anything like that. It was pretty painless and quick for me.
