It looks really easy to change from the manual. Is it that easy?

In theory it is easy --- the mechanism and routing are straight forward, and the tension adjustment is fully automatic. However, due to the poor access (tight space between the front of the engine and the firewall plus all the pipes, etc. in the way), it is a bit tedious --- took me about a 1/2 hour. Also, it must be done from underneath, so unless you have a lift, it is a bit awkward to do while lying on your back under the car :).

I R&R it from the top. Sometimes I feel it's necessary to loosen the pax side rad hose, sometimes not. Probably 10 minutes to remove and replace from the top, on a cold engine. Another 5 minutes to *carefully* check the belt alignment from the bottom.
Gotta have the right length 1/2" drive breaker bar 'tho.
Takes a bit of moxey to move that tension arm too.
