My fellow Elysians,

Today we mark the day that the Lotus Elise arrives in these great states. Today we open our eyes to the true meaning of a sports car. Today we shed the skin of old, of heavy steel and "cupholders".

Today my friends, we celebrate the end of the wait!

Bill of Rights

1. One shall have the right to post pictures of said Elise if I, member of elisetalk.com, take delivery of the vehicle before others on Elisetalk.com.

2. One shall have the right to drive their new Elise to the homes of other members of Elisetalk.com in order to help ease the pain of their wait.

3. One shall have the right to pass up a street race during break-in and any other time, unless you really want to show the kiddies that street racing is stupid.

4. The right to absurdly agile cornering shall not be violated by any SUV, sedan, or otherwise routine form of transportation without just compensation.

5. One shall reserve the right to gloat about their early purchase, but not so much as to warrant ridicule from their fellow Elysians, except in the cases where said owner is deemed to have the most highly sought after Elise, wherein the remaining Elysians may be compelled to grovel for a glimpse of said vehicle.

:D
You guy`s crack me up:clap:

Really feeling for ya`s. Not to much longer:cool:
Well it's the 15th. I'm here. Where are the damn elises? !

Perfect!
6. One shall have the right to assert that their color preference is the perfect choice for an Elise, but shall refrain from mocking the color selections of fellow Elysians.

Aside from getting my hands on my Elise, my mission in life is to see all 14 colors in person (up to 6 so far if I count the five on display at the LA Auto Show and 1 in the parking lot).

You need to get to LOG 24! See the Lotus Limited website for details...

One may have been Clyde, he loved Bronze and swore it looked great in person.

OOoooo... see what happens when you get married!!! :D
I attended the "Ferrari Racing Days" event at Lime Rock Park last week. There was what appeared to be an aztec-bronze-like 360 present.

That convinces me, I'm changing my color to a 50/50 special
