im running 16x8 RPF1 rims in the rear (16x7 front) & i am having a really hard time finding 235/245 width sizes for them on tire rack

I would prefer a 235/50 or 245/50 in the rear (i would do a 45 sidewall if needed, but im looking to run the 50's to keep my cruising RPM down & my speedo more accurate)... however i seem to really only find 225 with a large selection

im curious what some of you others are running for tire sizes if you have 16's in the rear?

I run 15/16 for AutoX on my exige. 225/45/16 rear, 205/45/15 front.

One important note, watch for rubbing of your ebrake cable housing on the wheel, it's a tight fit, and you may have to zip-tie it off.

yeah the cables are already taken care of...

i may very well run 225 on the rear when the time comes... & after searching i don't think they even make a 235 with 45/50 sidewalls for 16's

Don't get to fixated on the aspect ratio as the actual tire width will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer for the same rated width. Rather look at the overall diameter, which should be just under 25" (stock is 24.8-24.9"). The Toyo above is 24.4", so will be 2% lower geared.

yeah i deffinetly noticed that over the years.... which is why i really want to avoid running a 50 series sidewall on a 225 (as some of them may look like truck tires wrapped on the rpf1's & that'll cause more flex than I would prefer)
