Sergio Pininfarina passed away in his Turin, Italy home today at 85, so in honor of the renowned designer, we've compiled a list of our top 10 favorite designs from oldest to newest.

Pininfarina's father started as a coachbuilder and founded the company. Those roots are evidenced in the 1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300, to which the company contributed coaches. Today, we associate the 8C name with a modern Alfa sports car, but its styling is still influenced by the original.

Sorry but that list is rediculous. Including the RR Camargue, because it was the most expensive cars when introduced? Including a 250GTE because it sold well being a 2+2 Ferrari? Yet leaving off the list cars like the 250GT SWB California, the 246 Dino, the 275GTB/4 and other far more beautiful designs makes no sense.

Not in the same league as the above, but he did a great job on the Peugeot 406 couple (and many other peugeots).

Most of his commendation lists as he passed never even mentioned the 355, which is a travesty considering how timeless it still is.

"that for the wheels? what brand? help please!?"

decorsa polaris 5. Quite rare.
