I normally don't like white cars, but the Exige looks amazing in that color.

Very nearly went with the BO. But last time I bought a Lotus I really wanted the Yellow (Norfolk Mustard at the time) and the dealer kicked up a fuss and eventually sold me one of his stock cars. As the previous poster put it, these light colours really work well with the black trim.

in order of importance
1-ardent red / chili red tie (most my cars are red, and at time of purchase there were NO chili red 07 exige S in stock at all my local dealers)
2-aspen white (my other cars that arent red are white)
3-krypton green (its awesome, just a bit too much eye attention, and im afraid the color novelty may wear off quite fast)

runner up
Chrome Orange (my 04 xb has a similar color called Hot Lava)

The honest truth... I was really hooked on Chrome Orange... I went to the dealer to see one that they had in stock. It looked great... I called the next day to schedule a test drive and it was sold. I was crushed... but the salesman said they had an Aspen White in storage and would bring it out for a test drive... I have to admit, I wasn't expecting greatness... but in all honesty I thought the Aspen White just looked fantastic on the Exige. It really brings out the subtleties of the shape without distracting from it. No regrets...

I've always thought that the ideal car color should make a statement. What is the owner trying to say? Is he 'loud', 'powerful', 'classy', 'sporty' and so on.

For me:
#1 - KG (I want the attention since it's my company car ... marketing!)
#2 - CO (I was SO close to going with CO)
#3 - Solar Yellow (My Miata is Mica Yellow)

But I can definitely see the attraction to the white, and flat black is awesome.
