One of my all time favorites isn't shown... I think it was 1968.

A wide shot of a 1967 VW Van in the desert. It explodes in a huge explosion. The explosion then runs backwards to reveal the totally redesigned 1968 VW Van.

A very simple ad... except they blew up two vehicles to make it.

ps -- I was building my own "fireworks" at the time so I really liked it

Yeah, I admire Jackie Stewart as much as anybody, but what was he thinking? My dad had a Tempo and it was a terrible car. Terrible!
